CPT Pauline F. James

Captain Pauline F. James is a member of the United States Army, Virgin Islands
National Guard and has served for 22 years. She enlisted in the Army National Guard on October 1996; attended basic training and advanced individual training (AIT) at Fort
Jackson, South Carolina. She has held positions such as Administrative Clerk and
Military Police.

In October 2008, she was commissioned as a second lieutenant in Fort
Benning, GA. Her assignments included Plans Officer in the Joint Force Headquarters, Active Guard Reserve section, Aide-De-Camp to the Deputy Commander Joint Task
Force, Guantanamo, and Human Resource Officer, 104th Troop Command. CPT James
currently serves as the Commander, JFHQ-VI.

CPT James’ military education includes Administrative Specialist Course,
Military Police School, Human Resources Specialist Course, Officer Candidate School,
Adjutant General Basic Officer Leader Course, Combined Protocol Training Course,
Commander’s Safety Course, Adjutant General Captains Career Course.

CPT James’ has received several awards and decorations during her years of
service. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of the
Virgin Islands and recently completed her last course towards a Master of Arts in
Psychology from American Military University.

CPT James is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated for 16 years and
currently serves as the Chapter President, Nu Chi Zeta. She loves giving back to her
community. Her hobbies include spending time with family, writing poems and reading.
